Another commish I did around 2 years ago, same deal being that it's part of the commissioner's yet-to-be-named urban fantasy novel. While I don't remember specifics, Dell is mainly some kind of alien deer creature. I used a trick where I took pictures of the drawing in a dark room so I could get the effect of his eyes glowing. Since he's a deer, having giant, gaping white eyes in the darkness without a discernable body shape seems to make sense for some reason.
