See, Flynn, this is what happens when you try to be cool with your robot hand. You're not used to that thing yet.

Taking a lil' break from fanstuffs, because Flynn needs some love. I like Flynn. I was worried about him for a while, but now I think he'll do fine.

You know, part of the reason that I wanted to eradicate romance from Cracked Walls was, besides that it would distract from the story, I wanted to try and write a strong male character whose defining trait wasn't a crush on the feisty female lead. Flynn shouldn't be that. Flynn isn't stupid, or clumsy, or oblivious, or even that much of a coward. He's very unlucky, yet easygoing and optimistic, if a little frustrated with the world he lives in. He loves music, theater, and books. He's a genuinely nice guy. But overall, he's also kind of a dweeb. And I love him just as much as any of my other characters.

And he also has a habit of botching chances to be awesome.

Dang, I didn't intend to rant about Flynn's character like that. But I think I'm finally starting to find him.

I might color this properly later, when it's not past 1 am and I'm not dead tired.
