Adobe Photoshop 7 colouring over a very rough sketch. Approx 72 hours working time. The original image is 300 DPI and 1800 x 2400... compression and resizing for web display murdered the clean lines

Have you watched the anime or read the manga "Hellsing" at all?? That "young chap" is one of the main characters and the other "fellow" is his enemy. It's a great story and I highly recommend either the anime or the manga (preferably the manga) if you like vampire stories

I'm a die-hard AxAA fan, but open to other pairings (barring anything with Jan Valentine... I truly dislike that character). I did a bit of AxI fan art for the webcomic "And Shine Heaven Now" just because the comic is so absolutely hilarious and the doujinshi-ka is very nice. Not quite my cup of tea for pairings, but why the heck not draw it, right?

I was very worried about compression killing the image. It made some of the line art a bit jagged, but didn't murder it too badly

I must admit that the sigil on the glove is a manipulated image. I forget where I got it from and I might as well just credit the "And Shine Heaven Now" webcomic site since I visit it so much and love the comic.

There are a few "rough" spots, but they don't detract from the image really.
Those being where the black lines of your underlying sketch seem to have a jagged edge to them.
The palm side of the white glove being the most prominent, to me.

It looks a lot better without being compressed. The full size image is 300 DPI and 1800 x 2400. This is reduced to 72 DPI and 700 x 536. There is a "jagged" spot at the index finger to indicate wrinkles in the glove. Anything else is a result of compression.
