Another Metroid Fusion art.The SA-X is out for some hunting. Samus hunting that is.
Walking the dark corridors of the B.S.L. station, the SA-X just happens to run into Samus. It knew that Samus would run because she didn't have the weaponry required.
The SA-X does not hunt for money or glory. Might not even be for fun. But it could be because of the Metroid-DNA that Samus carries that makes her an interesting target.
Poor Samus... "This is nothing like Dark Samus!"
Anyway, hope you enjoy the pic.

Well, if you've played the Prime games you should know that there are some differences. And I assume you mean 'Planet Aether'.

eeh i don't think Dark Samus is an SA-X. i can say for certian that it's Metroid Prime in posession of Samus' Phazon Suit lol

well there's even proof of it. look at the 100% ending of Metroid Prime 1. that pool of phazon in the Prime chamber...when the suit hand shoots up from the pool, it's jet black, and has that eyeball where the light would be. that WAS Samus' Phazon Suit.

Fast forward to Prime 2. ANY shot of Dark Samus you see has her...i mean it's... free hand with the eyeball...the same one from Prime 1 (take a look at Dark Samus 4 at the end of the game). while i'm not sure wether the scan data says so or not (i never really read the scans lol...gotta go back and do that), the official Metroid Wiki states that it is a fusion of Samus' DNA and the remains of Metroid Prime. Since it obviously wants to KILL samus, i'm willing to bet it's mind is that of Metroid Prime...and thus Dark Samus is Metroid Prime with the Phazon Suit...

Realistic and true to Fusion. This actually happens, for those few here who may not have played this great yet ancient game.
I like the coloring. Somehow, the skill that you put into this just seems...ironic. I mean, this was a bad thing in the game and Samus was NOT happy about it. It meant that, for once in her life, she just wasn't good or strong enough. You captured it all. Nice job.

i did not like the linearity of fusion, neither that Nav PC who said "JUST GIT THERE AND YOU SHALT FINDAH DA NEKST POWAHAP DUUR"
i am more like of a super metroid fan, being TOTALLY LOST and being able to do almost everything out of order.
but what i like fusion for is that with the gooey suit she had low defense, and it felt realistic, since goo is not as sturdy as Chozo Metal, it helped the challenge a bit, but the linearity of it killed it a lot for me.

With Super Metroid as my fav game of all time, I agree.
But I still think Metroid Fusion is a good game with great gaming value, although its linearity.

It seems as a simple lifeform (it's JELL-O).
At least it knows the potential of the Super Missiles.
X also absorbs the knowledge of whatever it possess.
It never absorbed Samus, would it mean it got the knowledge of suit itself?
I'm guessing it just means how to use every weapon, but not in a tactical way.

I truly HATE the suit of Fusion, I mean Samus always had that badass suit Space Marine-like, everyone is accustomed to her with this suit!
And then now you have this skinny goo covered-like suit!

Agreed, Fusion suit was okay, but it wasn't the same as the original Chozo-suit.
I hope the real sequel can reverse this issue. GO CHOZO-TECH!

I think that new suit is a way to the creators to make the contrst between the "new" thick weakened Samus and the "old" imponent overpowered one!

They always had the ending screens, but I sort of accepted them cause they never seemed to be a focal point in the series.
