Two friends on a bit of a road trip, letting life take them wherever it leads them.

Pauli (the one on the right) is made of plastic. What this means is… not very clear. Her body is hollow and slightly translucent; and is easy to melt, compress and mold. She has taken many shapes over the years. She deeply wants to find her true self, without the influence of what she once was.

Piper (the one on the left), like many others, is made of paper. A free spirit, she wants to explore the world for fun. She is pretty careless and excitable. Her constant adventuring in the past has left her arms in a tearable condition, but that’s not going to stop her from going out and having fun.

They clearly have some history, perhaps childhood friends or roommates or something, but it has never really come up in conversation. The only thing that really matters is that they're anywhere and not there to stay. Colloquially others refer them as the "bag girls".
