(Wave was working on her Extreme Gear's settings, while Jet was once again sleeping on his desk, taking a nap, while Annie was looking out of the window of his office...when suddenly...)

Jet: (Startled Squawk, falls off his chair) >A<

Storm: We've finally arrived to our destination! OAO

Annie: For the love of God, do you ever knock on the door before you enter someone's room? -.-'

(in another scenario, Jet was taking a shower in the bathroom of his ship, when Storm bursts through the bathroom door and pulls the veil in desperation)

Jet: Why you little- (pulls out his Bashosen fans, with an angry look on his face)

(the Hawk chases the Albatross around with his fans)

Storm: I wanted to say that we're already in Meso...Uhhh...Mesopatem...what's its called again?

Jet: (looks outside the window of his office and sees a vast sandy desert) so we're finally here! Sonic, lets go get the others! we've finally arrived to our destination!

(moments later as they land on the Barren desert of Mesopotamia, far from civilization.)

Nova: so, this is Mesopotamia, huh? or at least, what's left of it...

Gloria: that is one big ass desert.

Knuckles: to think that civilization started here of all places...

Sonic: That's not too bad I'd say. except all I see is sand and rocks.

Shadow: its called a desert for a reason.

Sophie: if I remember correctly, we're here to fix this Tablet of Destinies, right?

Annie: that's right. As I've mentioned before, there are four pieces scattered throughout Mesopotamia. they are located in Assyria, Eridu, Uruk and Babylon. we don't have much time left since Nibiru will be coming here in less than three days.

Tails: then lets split into four groups, so we'll find each of the Tablet pieces at a faster rate!

Longclaw: that is a wise choice.

Shadow: I'd say Rouge, Nova and I will go see what we can find in Assyria.

Nova: Hmph. -.-

Rouge: Team Dark always prevails in its missions~

Nova: now if only Omega was here.

Silver: then I'll go to Eridu with Blaze, Ember and Aira and find the tablet piece in no time.

Blaze: we'll do our very best to find the it.

Sonic: in that case, me and my friends here will check out Uruk!

Longclaw: I will come along with Sonic and the others. I find the ancient civilization of Uruk quite intriguing. there are countless stories surrounding it, among them is the legend of a man that was its ruler, known by many as the King of Heroes.

Sophie: King of Heroes? O.O

Longclaw: When we get there, we'll discuss this further.

Jet: then that leaves me, Wave, Storm and Annie going straight to Babylon!

Storm: the home of our ancestors on Earth!

Wave: I wonder what more secrets we can find about our kind's past.

Annie: I'm sure you can find plenty of them.

Knuckles: alright teams, looks like we're all set now that we know our destinations.

Tails: I set up the communication devices to each and every one of us, so we'll know what's going on, or in case one of us gets lost on the way.

Sophie: (looks at the communication device on her wrist) that way we're gonna stick together, even if we're in separate ways.

Jet: now that we're all ready, lets get going!

(and so the group split into four teams, each going to their own specific location in the vast desert of Mesopotamia. Shadow, Nova and Rouge went to Assyria, Ember, Aira, Silver and Blaze went to Eridu, Jet, Annie, and her pet parrot, Rico, Wave and Storm went to Babylon, and Sonic, Sophie and the rest of their friends went to Uruk. with the same goal of obtaining the piece of the Tablet of Destinies. Not knowing that Eggman was watching them, smirking his evil smirk)

(We start at the ancient Mesopotamian city of Eridu, where Silver's group is at. he, Blaze, Ember and Aira rode on their Extreme Gears, looking around the city ruins, until they come across a tall building, which appears to be a temple of some sort.)

Aira: woah, take a look at this!

Silver: it looks like some kind of an ancient temple.

(the blue haired Hero of the future looks at the beeping dot on the radar of her communication device.)

Aira: there's no mistaking it, the piece of the Tablet is in this building.

Blaze: come on. lets go see inside the temple and see what we can find.

Silver: wait, Blaze!

Blaze: hm?

Silver: it could be dangerous. we should stay close together, in case something comes and attacks us.

Blaze: you worry too much, Silver. I'm going to be just fine. although... (looks inside the temple, which is mostly submerged in water) I'm afraid my flames cannot withstand the water.

Aira: its okay! we have our extreme gears with us, so we'll be just fine!

(the four enter the Temple of the Subterranean Waters, riding through the temple's submerged hallways and rooms, until they enter a hidden chamber with small waterfalls on each side. and in the middle was the piece of the Tablet of Destinies.)

Aira: this is...

Blaze: its a piece of the Tablet.

Ember: hmm... (approaches the tablet, looking around in case there was danger, and she takes the tablet piece in her hand.)

(but when Ember takes the Tablet piece, there was a blinding light and a hologram of a figure as the four stood back and braced themselves until...)

???: do not be alarmed. I will not harm you.

Aira: who are you?

???: I am called Enki, the god of water and the crafts.

Ember: Enki?

Enki: In ancient times, I was the patron deity of the city of Eridu, and this temple where you stand was once my domain.

Blaze: why was this tablet of destinies' piece here?

Enki: when it shattered to five fragments, I've hidden this piece here in hopes that Marduk, my son, will not get hold of the tablet again, with his corrupt nature. and now after many millennia, I can now sense his presence with Nibiru coming to Earth's orbit. you see, as a deity of crafts, I was the one that created the Tablet of Destinies. it was not my intention that Marduk seeks to subject all the creatures of the world to his rule. Upon its creation, I bestowed the Tablet to my son when time began, during a conflict with the primordial goddess, Tiamat. it made him the most powerful of the gods, however, the Tablet's corrupted him, and turned him into what he is now. he seeks to reclaim the tablet of destinies to dominate everything in the universe. such are the first words written on the tablet.

Aira: ...

Enki: To those that possess the tablet, make claim of your wishes, make the universe yours, be forewarned, for those that prove weak of heart and mind may call upon something far more powerful, much more Malevolent, than the evils of men, they will call upon the very darkness of the gods themselves.

Blaze: in other words, the Tablet's power is not to be toiled with...

Enki: indeed. the Tablet of Destinies is both a force of creation and of destruction, depending on who is holding it and how strong his or her heart is. therefore, be careful what you wish for. ultimately, one's wishes can bring either hope or despair upon himself or unto others.

(Enki's hologram disappears, as he lets the four obtain the piece of the Tablet that was hidden in his temple. the four have taken the mesopotamian water deity's warning to their hearts, for they knew that the Tablet's power can be too dangerous beyond imagination.)
