FLASHBACK

(We see Gloria, Sophie, Nathan and Gabby in their younger days playing around in the park with Michelle watching them. Then they were seen being chased by the older woman in a playful manner. The little Lythian and her younger adoptive brother were quite the mischievous of the four. They planned to prank their caretaker but the prank backfired when she caught the two before they could escape with Gabby and Gloria helping her.)

Sophie: Aww Come on!! That ain't fair!! >^<

Nathan: (pouts)

Michelle: Im not that much of a fool to fall for your tricks!!

Sophie: It was Nathan's idea!!

Nathan: You agreed to it!!

(Gloria and Gabby snicker)

Michelle: Alright thats enough outta you two! How about I make you some cookies?

Sophie: (with sparkling eyes) COOKIES!? OWO

Michelle: yep. For my favorite four youngsters that I love 3000!

All four children: YAY!!! >W<

(Back to the present day, Sonic, Sophie and their friends and family held a funeral for Michelle Carter, burying her in a nearby cemetery. Sophie, Gloria, Nathan and Gabby watch in tears as her dead body was laid inside a tomb, and was buried underground. Knuckles tapped Gloria's back telling her that her sacrifice wasn't for nothing. Tails and Cosmo try their best to calm the crying Nathan. Amy and Silver did the same for Gabby. Aira, Sonic and Bendy try to console the Lythian Knight who was in deep sorrow. Corruption hung his head low watching the scene before him.

(Later after the funeral...)

Aira: You four need to go home and rest for a bit. you'll need it.

Sonic: I agree with Aira. Bendy, Corruption...be there for these four kiddos.

Bendy: We will, Sonic!

(Corruption nods)

Sonic: Sophie...everything's gonna be fine. you'll see.

(Sophie nods silently, giving him a weak smile)

(the two demons accompanied the four on their way home. none of them said a word, since they were so lost in their grief. but the one who was more lost in her grief was Sophie, as Michelle's death devastated her greatly.)

when they returned, Benny and Boris went up to hug them, Alice went to greet them but Corruption stops them from doing so and seeing that Michelle wasn't with them, they were confused until Bendy explains what happened. which shocked the other three toons to the core. Michelle Carter was dead...gone from this world forever. This made the little Devildoll cry in sorrow, and Boris whined sadly like a dog knowing Michelle was dead. And Alice hangs her head low trying to choke back the tears. then, all of a sudden, Gloria grabs Sophie by the shirt and slams her against the wall, angrily shouting at her for unintentionally causing Michelle's death.)

Gloria: Why did Michelle have to die like that?!

Sophie: ??... Q.Q

Gloria: its because of you! Michelle died to protect you of all people! you think you are some kind of star that lights up the darkness! its bad enough Nathan and I lost our parents, even though they were assholes-!

Gabby: Gloria, don't even go there!!!

(Gloria stops herself and glares at the trembling Sophie, then lets her go and walks away angrily and slams the door behind her. Sophie could only stare at her older sister, all kinds of thoughts going in and out of her mind.

the five toons knew the the Lythian and the three humans needed some time to recover from this unfortunate turn of events and mourn the death of their caretaker at the hands of the ruthless Decepticon mercenary. and especially since that tragedy caused a rift between Sophie and Gloria.)

(A week has passed since the time Michelle died, Gloria was still angry with Sophie, just as Sophie was angry with herself. Nathan and Gabby were coming in terms of what happened, with the aid of the five Joey Drew toons, Sammy Lawrence, Norman Polk, Henry Stein, Allison and Thomas Connor who came for a small visit. The former workers of the Joey Drew studios heard the news of her death, and decided to help the four to get them through this dark hour.)

(During that week, Gloria had Norman, Tom, Boris and Toffy help her cope with her grief and anger over Michelle's death, but still finds herself unable to forgive Sophie. Nathan had Alice, Benny, Allison and Sammy cope with his sorrows as he felt like a child who witnessed his parent getting murdered. Gabby had Linda, Henry and Bendy helping her ease her anguish.)

(Sophie however was the only one who was still upset over Michelle's death. if there was anyone of the four who was far more devastated by Michelle's death, it would be Sophie. Gloria took it hard, but Sophie took it the hardest. Having nightmares of this traumatizing event, being withdrawn, feeling emotionally numb, and having frequent panic attacks when being reminded of what she witnessed and she felt it was all on her. Michelle's death was all her fault. These were signs of her suffering from PTSD again. and this time, the cause was the death of a loved one. she wasn't sure if she can handle all this anymore as she fights to protect the innocent, when so much is being taken from her in return.)

(one night,  Bendy enters the room and saw Sophie, still in her Knight form, hugging her knees and silently crying. he slowly walked over to her.)

Bendy: Sophie?

(Sophie looks at Bendy, tears running down her face, seeing her so sad broke the little Ink Demon's heart. he saw her rarely ever gave in to sadness, but this....this was the first time he ever saw her like this.)

Bendy: *he went to her, managed to give her a small smile* Hey...

Sophie: (Slightly waves at him and says quietly) Hey, Bends....

Bendy: *his smile fades away quickly. He can tell it was a very somber greeting*

(he Lythian's anguish was so great she was unable to even smile)

Bendy: Sophie? You okay?

Sophie: B-Bendy....I-I... I'm sorry I haven't been myself lately... *sniffle*

Bendy: I can tell...

Sophie: when Michelle died that day, something in me snapped. people I care for always die because of me.... Michelle was like a mother to me. even though she was a human. I waited so long to meet her again...we spent time together, going through the good and bad tims, until she....she....

Bendy: *listens*

Sophie: ...if only I was strong enough to fight her, no....if only Nightfall never showed up, then she wouldn't have been killed....but Michelle is dead, and its all my fault... Just how many....How many more of my friends have to be sacrificed...?

Bendy: (looks at her sadly)

Sophie: It hurts so much...I dont think I can take it anymore... (covers her face with her hands, sobbing)

Bendy: -quietly- Sophie...

(Seeing her cry made Bendy have an urge to cry himself, as Inky tears form in his pie cut eyes. but they weren't for himself...they were for her. he hated watching her suffer like this. so he put his hand on her shoulder and hugs her moments later.)

Sophie: (gasps at the sudden movement)

Bendy: ...I know it really hurts to lose someone you saw as family, but...I know Michelle died, but...don't beat yourself up for it. please. it hurts me too, especially when you're in tears like this.
so please, don't cry.  I-It’s okay... You still have me, your family, and friends.

Sophie: ( Looks at him and returns the hug, Holding him close to herself, releasing a quiet sob.) but Gloria is still angry at me for that day. and I understand why...at this point she might even hate me.

Bendy: Gloria doesn't hate you. she's hurting from the grief just like you, but in a different way. even though it does more harm than good....

Sophie: so what do I do now? what am I supposed to do now?!

Bendy: Shhhh....  I’m here for ya alright? Always gonna be here. and I ain't goin' anywhere.

Sophie: B-Bendy...

Bendy: I'm here.... My brave guardian Angel~

(Sophie sniffled)

Bendy: (quietly) Take a deep breath, okay? no one is gonna hurt you.

(and Sophie did, she took a few deep breaths to calm herself down, holding onto the little demon.)

Bendy: (as he rubs her back gently) That’s it, That’s it....

(Sophie manages to calm down a bit)

Bendy: It’s okay, you’re okay...

(she uses one hand to wipe away the remnant of her tears)

Bendy: *smiling* If you ever need someone to cry on, I’m here. Everyone is.

Sophie: (smiles a little) thank you...

Bendy: *smiles* You’re welcome, toots.

(Sophie moves her hand and pets his head)

Bendy: Hm?

(Sophie had a smile showing how grateful she is for Bendy to support her in her dark hour)

Bendy: *smiles a bit and lets her pet his head*

(Sophie rubs the area between his horns, causing Bendy to purr.)

Bendy: ^w^ *purrs*

(she then moves her hand down to his chin, scratching it lightly.)

Bendy: Mmm~ (purrs a bit louder, as his little demon tail was swishing)

Sophie: You're so cute...

Bendy: *blushes at that and giggles* kehehe... Thanks! I get that a lot~

(Sophie continues to pet the little demon, and what nearly surprised her was that he started to act more cat-like. hearing him trill with content as he wants to be petted more. and she continues on. the sound of him trilling sounded so cute. so Sophie nuzzles his face as she hears him trill like a cat. He really was so adorable.)

Bendy: *he purred and trilled as he nuzzled her back*

Sophie: *giggled* Awwww~

Bendy: Hmhm! Think I’m cute when I act like a kitty, huh?~

Sophie: Yes! and its adorable! I only ever hear you purr a lot, but that's something completely new!

Bendy: I can’t help it! I act a lot like a cat around my loved ones. and you're one of them!

Sophie: (smiles as Bendy continues to nuzzle her in a cat like manner.)

Bendy:  Meow...

(the sound of the little demon meowing sounded so adorable.  she pets his head, her other arm goes around his back, as she held him close to herself, hearing him purring a bit loudly.)

Bendy: Mrow... *purrs*

Sophie: (kisses his forehead, blushing a little)

Bendy: (with Inky hearts appearing floating above his head) Nyaaah!~ ^//w//^

Sophie: You cute kitty~ >//w//<

(He purrs and trills at that, snuggling up to Sophie's chest as she pets his horned head. it seemed like he managed to cheer the Lythian Knight a bit. Sophie felt like she was petting a cat rather than a demon. neither of them wanted to admit it, but they both felt their bond strengthening further... it was beyond that of a simple friendship. and soon it will grow into something more. Bendy gazes up at her and gave her a cute look. that being his iconic smile)

Bendy:

Sophie: Awww...Bendy~ ^^

(Sophie wraps her white cape around the little devil, and Bendy nuzzles her neck in response as he purred. resting in the arms of his one and only Angel. he wished he had more courage and could tell her how he really feels about her. how much he cares for her. and how much he... loves her. he knew she might be oblivious to his feelings for her, knowing she wasn't quite open to the idea of being in love with someone at the moment. he was a cartoon demon brought to this plane of existence by the Ink Machine, and she was an alien being who came from beyond the skies. but the right time will surely come when he is brave enough to tell her everything.)

(meanwhile, Gloria is seen entering the basement, looking over at all of Michelle's weapons stored inside. which were mostly several types of guns. she remembers how Michelle taught her to use one in combat when she was young. Gloria grabs an M16 rifle, as she felt that every weapon Michelle had, was now at her disposal. and if Nightfall was still out there, then she will do whatever it takes, to protect her friends...,her family....and get revenge on the ruthless decepticon.)

Gloria: Michelle, I swear....We're going to get that bitch!
