I never tried the Sigma 105, but i though it was almost like the canon 100mm.
Sb, is that flash? Let me know if i can help you guys in any way Btw, if a image don`t have the sharp edge, some smart sharpen in LAB mode is very good! 35pixels and radius 2 is what i usually use if an image needs that extra touch.
Ah, yes, he is a great macro artist, though for my taste it is to close. i like a background and surrounding to be part of an image. Thats why i never bought the Canon MPE-65mm, i just don`t think i need more then max 2:1. 2:1 would be nice on some shots.

yeah its similar but the overall quality can never match the real thing, i didn't know this as i bought her the sigma soon as i got the camera, if she keeps up with the macro ive considered selling it and getting the nikkor.
yeah the SB's are the flashes, one is about 500$ and the other 300$, dual flash setup is such a huge help in some scenarios, we just got bugger all time to try stuff.
im a smart sharpen noob i just couldnt get it locked properly, but i will be sure to try what you said, ive been told by many to stop with the unsharpen mask.
man your 80k is like going backwards

Good shot, but I'm not really convinced by the green gradient. I think it doesn't fit very well into the picture.

Oooh, I really like this and would love to see more like it. I can't tell where the plant ends and the cloth begins so yay! This is beautiful.
