Back inside the house from our vineyard, I feel kinda funny, it’s like my skin starts to prickle. Oh, I know what this means. Ten can see something’s wrong and he asks me if I’m alright, am I cold, do I want extra blankets, scarves, socks, a warm milk?. Usual Ten’s fuss. I send him away, telling him I need a quiet time reading in our library and yes! I’m completely fine.

Couple minutes gone by and a nurse is doing his daily check up on me. He looks at my flushed face and trying to put a thermometer in my mouth. I just close my mouth tight and shake my head repeatedly. He sighs and gives up. In fact I can’t tell him to go cos my voice will tremble and I’m holding my body still with all my might so I won’t violently shiver.
