Summer was here and school was practically over. Yet everyone was in the gym sitting in silence, ticking their time way for the final basketball meeting of the school year. No one did anything practical and continued to sit still. Kise was playing a video game, while Aomine was sleeping on the bleachers. Not to far from where Aomine was, Kuroko and _____ ;who were leaning on their palms. Akashi was playing Shogi in a corner by himself and Murasakibara was eating snacks along the wall. The only person who seemed to be playing basketball was Midorima, practicing his usual shooting routine.

"Sigh~~~" _____ huffed. She wasn't the only one. She was bored just as everyone else. For the next few minutes, this would continue. _____ was never into being bored so she tried to come up with a good way to spend their lame afternoon. Until... "I got it-su~~~!" Everyone looked at where the sound was coming from. The looks were going straight to Kise, who was standing now with a gleam in his eyes. "Let's go to the mall! We'll have fun and won't be bored anymore!"

From a far Akashi was pleased; surely his teammates would like to part take in such an occasion. Akashi started to plan the trip with no time to loose. Kuroko smiled at Kise,glad that his teammate had come up with something. "That's a great idea, Kise-kun." "You think so Kurokochii?!" Kise gleamed looking over to his crush _____ "We can take_____ to the mall and make her dress up in cute clothes. And then-" Before Kise was about to finished, Akashi appeared behind him; sending shivers down Kise's back. "Ryouta, you will not disgrace _____'s name with your perverted fantasies. For that, you will be running tomorrow, 30 laps. Do I make myself clear?" Kise cried in a corner with little to no words to say.

"But _____, I will say that you would look amazing in anything you put on and I won't mind helping you pick something out." Akashi turned over to her. She blushed with no words to say. "See Kischin, that's called being a low-key pervert. You should learn something from Akachin." Murasakibara was munching on some chips again. "I do agree that we should go to the mall and maybe it could be like a day off from training." _____ exclaimed. As the personal trainer for the generation of miracles, she did have the right to give them some time off from practice.

"All right! _____ ichhi is on board with my idea too~~" Kise got out his phone and looked for things to do for the trip. Kuroko and _____ were about to discuss the details with Akashi, when all of a sudden a phone rang. Ring Ring Ring! The phone continued with a message. "Are you ready for today's fortune? Get set, Rabbits are today's lucky item and will bring good blessing to you today!" The sound had come from Midorima's phone,he was looking at it reading his horoscope. When he heard the message, he was ready to start the day with his new lucky item.

Midorima stormed to the nearest exit. Before he could step one foot out, he was stopped by none other then _____. "Where do you think you're going?" She asked with a smile? Midormia was in for a show...

At the mall, 25 minutes later. w
The generation of miracles and their personal trainer were now walking around the mall looking to have some fun. Midorima wasn't having it though, but soon gave up on trying to be alone at the mall. _____ was kind enough and asked if she could help him look around for his lucky item. He was allowing this only if she wasn't annoying, she reluctantly accepted his condition. The gang was looking around to see what store to head to first. "Oh oh Kurokochii, lets go to the clothing store and buy something! I could dress you up-" (BAM WHAT!)

Aomine hit Kise on the head and cut him off before he could continue. "How about we go to the sports store and buy ourselves some news basketball shoes?" Aomine turned over to where Kuroko was supposed to be, but soon everyone noticed that he was missing. "EHHHH?!?!" Kise and Aomine screamed, if Akashi found out that Kuroko was missing; they were done for.

"Aomineicchi, lets go find kurokocchi before Akashiichhi finds us!" Akashi was next to _____, talking to her about the next training plan until he heard his name. "Ryouta, Daiki... What did you just say?" His emphasized. The boys were terrified and began to shudder. Neither of them knew what to do about the situation. Luckily _____ changed the subject and brought up Midorima's lucky item. "So Shin-chan, tell me where we should go to look for your rabbits." He rolled his eyes while adjusting his glasses. He didn't have time to waste, but again had no choice in the matter.

"First of all _____-san, how many times have I told you not to call me by that?" _____ would always tease Midorima and call him by that funny nickname. "It's cute and it's fitting for a tsundere like yourself." She giggled. The gang continued to walk around till they hit the food court. Akashi stood in front of the group ready to direct them, "As the team captain of the basketball team, I say we all split up and go to where we need to go; don't think I don't know that Tetsuya is missing either Ryouta, Daiki..." The boys both whistled as if nothing had happened.

"As we get the things we need or want,look for Kuroko as well. I will assign you to someone and we take it from there." Akashi looked at his teammates and came up with the groups, even if it was a controlling move no one complained. "Ryouta, Daiki and Atsushi. Go find Tetsuya and meet back here at the food court. Shintaro and _____ will go find their lucky item while I go on my own. I don't trust the rest of you to go with her so yes I did have a reason to group her with Shintaro." once everyone went to there own groups, Midormia searched for rabbits.

This was the first time _____ was ever alone with Midorima and she just now realized it. What would they talk about? What would they do together? This didn't come across her mind before. She blushed not sure how to even act around him while the rest of the gang left. She tried to lighten the mood. "So Shin-chan...is there anything specific that you want that's rabbit related or..." Midorima turned to _____, curious as to what she had to say next. "When I see it I will get it, but for now I just want to see my options-nanodayo."

"How about we check out a candy store; surely they could have rabbit shaped candy." A few stores ahead were the prefect place to start; it was a candy store within the mall. They sold all kinds of snacks and candies, so maybe they could find rabbit shaped ones. "Lets go inside!" _____ exclaimed. As they walked in _____ asked the store clerk if they had any rabbit shaped snacks or candy. He handed her a few to buy and suggested to look in the far back of the store for more options. Midorima was not easy to read, so _____ had a hard time knowing if he was satisfied.

"Lets get a couple of snacks from here, but keep an eye out for more rabbit-like items. Food isn't a permanent solution since we would eat it or go stale easily over time." She checked around the store to see if they had missed any bunny or rabbit snacks. Once they found what they needed, they paid the clerk up front. They left the store still in hope of finding more rabbity goods.

A few minutes later they started to get hungry; even if they stopped at the food court earlier, Akashi didn't give them time to eat. Midorima was the first to break as his stomach began to growl as if he had never eaten before. He blushed, turning his he head slowly to _____. She giggled trying to cover her mouth from all the laughter. Midorima was annoyed, "Hey! Don't laugh at me-nanodayo!" The girl couldn't help it, she just loved teasing her tsundere teammate. Once she calmed down, she pointed to a ramen shop near them and asked if they could take a bite there before they continued their search.

They both walked into the shop taking in the amazing aroma. "Mmm, it smells sooo good in here!" ____ beamed. Midorima agreed, maybe it was because he was so hungry or it had been awhile since he had some good ramen. "I'll order for us both if you're alright with that." ____ knotted, she thought it was really cute that Midorima could be so kind even if he was a tsundere. "Thanks Shin-chan, that's really sweet of you." He turned red not sure how to responded. "I-I'm going to order now."

_____ sat at one of the tables putting her head down. She was looking through the promotional material that was on the table. I wonder what he's thinking about....
To be honest she never thought about being with Midorima in any romantic way before. But being alone with him was kinda unexpected and was a little overwhelmed about it too. Sure she would make fun of him here and there, but he was just so easy to mess with him. She tried to snap out of it as Midorima came back with the food. He ordered red bean soup even though he wanted ramen at first. He brought over a bowl of _____'s favorite ramen and handed her some chopsticks.

She took a slurp out of her ramen, cheeks going warm at the taste. "It's just as good as it smells! It's sooo tasty~~~!" Midorima was enjoying his own food when he caught a glance at _____. She bit her lips in satisfaction, licking each of her fingers clean. Midorima was at lost for words, for clearly _____ was distracting him. She noticed and tilted her head as if she did nothing wrong. "What's wrong?" She asked. Snapping back to reality Midorima played it off. "N-nothing, just don't lick your fingers like that-nanodayo..." ____ was confused as to why he said that, but then she smiled with a mischievous grin.

"Why? Is it a problem?" She took another slurp before finishing. "You should eat with more class in public. You could be sending the wrong message to others around you-nanodayo..." ____ still didn't understand what he meant. "Really? What kind of message am I giving off then?" She leaned in closer, but Midorima wasn't going down without a fight. "You know what I mean, don't make me say it-nanodayo."

With a twinkle in her eyes, she waited for a response. "Well?" Midorima was in a trance contemplating on what to say. "Am I too seductive for you?" In an instant Midorima fell back on his chair. Startled ____ leaned forward to check on Midorima. "Are you okay?" She asked. Midorima sat up while rubbing his head. He could not believe what ____ just said. As he was fixing his glasses, he glanced up at ____. "I'm fine..."

_____ stood up and kneeled down towards Midorima, she got closer. Midorima out of instinct pulled back not making eye contact with ____. "Was it something I said?" She had that innocent look on her face. The atmosphere changed to something more soothing. There was something inside Midorima telling him to share his true feelings. He had the courage to meet her eyes, and leaned in closer to her. "_____." He waited for her response; she held his stare for a few seconds before moving inwards as well. As they were inches away from each others faces, _____'s breath became uneven. Midorima began to slid his hand to _____'s, wanting to hold her own with a smooth touch. She moved her hand closer, allowing him him to do so.

"Hey,guys." Midorima and _____ froze, someone had interrupted their tender moment. Both looked up from the floor turning their heads to where the voice was coming from. Kuroko had a straight poker face as if he had no idea what was going on. In an instant the couple pulled back, not making eye contact with each other. Kuroko noticed this and asked, "Are you guys alright?" Both where silent for a few seconds before _____ answered.

"Don't worry Kuroko,we were just having lunch." Midorima nodded his head in agreement. They both got up from the floor before they faced Kuroko. _____ looked around to see if the rest of the guys were with him. "Hey uh,Kuroko are you with anyone right now? Besides me and Shin-chan?" Kuroko also looked around the restaurant to see if anyone followed him. "Nope, I've been on my own this whole time. I lost you guys when we first got here." _____ was confused on why he looked around in the first place when he was already sure no one was with him.

Midorima got his phone out calling Akashi. After 2 rings Akashi picked up, "Hello, Shintaro? Did you find Tetsuya?"
"Yes,he's with me and uh _____." _____ heard how Midorima stuttered her name, She saw how his face was turning red as well. "Great, let me know your location and we can all meet back up." Midorima hung up and took a picture of the ramen place. He send it to Akashi and put his phone away. He was about to focus his attention on his teammates, when something else caught his eyes.

Both Kuroko and _____ saw the gaze in the green haired basketball player. The turned to see what he was looking towards. Across the mall there was a children's toy store; on the front window a ginormous bunny rabbit sat on a white chair giving a innocent vibe. Midorima was half way there when _____ and Kuroko redirected their focus back to him. _____ then chased after him, dragging Kuroko by the collar of his shirt. "Wait,Midorima! What about Akashi and the rest of the guys!?" People were staring at trio mainly at the one who screamed at the top of her lungs.

Now Akashi is going to skull us. Not only for leaving the ramen shop, but because we're causing a scene too." By the time Kuroko and _____ got there, it had seemed that Midorima already paid the cashier. He turned to where _____ was, watching her pant for air. She let go of Kuroko causing him to fall on the floor. Midorima hovered over the 2 in front him as he held his rabbit with his left hand. "Lets go..." Was all he said. He proceeded to walk out the store even though Kuroko and _____ just got there. "Give us a moment to rest first." _____ plead.

Midorima rolled his eyes and stood near the exhausted pair. He crossed his arms not wanting his patients to be tested. He stood out of the store waiting for _____ to cool off. She sat next to him not saying another word. She didn't want to be noticed by Midorima because of the events prier. She looked down at the ground, sorting her feelings out. She thought about how it was best that Kuroko had found them instead of the other guys. Who knew what sort of teasing lied ahead of her if Kise or Aomine had showed up.

Speaking of Kuroko, he was still in the store face planted on the ground. At first people thought it was strange, but soon many adapted to the odd situation and didn't even notice him after 2 minutes. _____ saw this and giggled, crazy things always seemed to happen when she was with the guys. "_____, Shintaro. I found you both." The two turned to see who had called them. Not to far from them was Akashi with the rest of the GOM. His eyes were piercing right through them, as the saying goes looks could kill. And in Akashi's case, even take your soul out.

"Shintaro, I thought you said you would be at the ramen shop across from here." Akashi crossed his arms, staring at Midorima. Apparently he seemed unfazed as if this happens often, which does. On the other hand _____ was terrified by Akashi. He would most likely take it out on her too. "And ____, Don't think I didn't hear you yell in a public place such as the mall. You should be ashamed of yourself. For now on I will be by your side until you prove to me you can handle being on your own.
There goes my freedom. She mopped. "And Kuroko, get up from the ground. You'll get yourself dirty."

Akashi did not hesitate to criticize the 3, in fact once they all left the mall he told everyone to run 5 extra laps for their behavior at the mall. Not only did Midorima and his group cause a fiasco, but Murasakibara ate all the free samples from one of the restaurants there and Aomine was catcalling multiple schoolgirls. Overall, their mall experience was average. Midorima and _____, did not discuss what had happened at the ramen place afterwards. Neither wanted to bring up that subject, after all they were both shy about it. In the future maybe they would talk about it.

He did have the courage to thank her for helping him out. Slow and steady was how he decided to proceed.
