Description
This one was quite a bit of work. To try and create a stained glass effect I coloured the drawing with pencil first. In Photoshop I added a layer of colour, keeping a transparancy of 50 %, between the original layer and one with the just the line art. And then I did some more editing till I was happy with it all. The over all effect still feels tradional in my opinion.

I suspect some of you who know my character Elizabeth didn't expect that bump. Well, neither did I to tell you the truth. It's not what I had in mind when I came up with the idea of even when I started sketching the picture. But along the way I made her hair more curly, added some maturity somehow and then I started on the dress and all of a sudden, there it was

I think it's just fitting to the scene. And she will get there at some time in the future, the characters in the comic do age.
