Description
This lady has been giving me heaps of trouble. First of all her Dutcn name, Spingveer, can't be translated in a nice way. Literally it would be Jumpfeather but a springveer is basically a metallic coil such as in a mattress. Jumpfeather makes no sense but what good names could you come up with with metallic coil or spring in it somewhere
As I am planning to give most of the tribe members new names anyway, Vera it is (keeping the veer-sound in it ), you heard it her first.

Second, the drawing itself. First attempt, I had already given it a basic inkline, I didn't like in the end. I had only streamlined her old outfit and it wasn't enough plus I hated how the face turned out. So I made a second attempt, traced the body and filled it in. Liked the face, liked the 3/4 pants (they were knee-length at first), liked the open boots (they were ballerinas before) kinda liked the top. So I inked the lot, scanned it an coloured it. And I hated it. I didn't like the colours anymore (I used to old ones) and the top was nice but not the kind you'd like to draw over and over again.

I took the original and stuck a piece of paper on it just big enough to cover the top and redid it. Rescan, reprint, recolour. And now I'm happy
