nearing nightfall (it is)
[ AND WE HAVE LOST THE SUNSHINE ]
and all light
(FADEs...)
from the day
as it moves(creeps)
s l o w l y...into night
and all that will
ill um i n at e
[ U S ]
will be the soft faint far off glow of burning hydrogen
(those beautiful dying stars)
and the now (d i s s a p a t i n g) glow
of the new sliver moon
and the cURVeATure
herEYESon
will slowly
f a d e / to / SHADOW /// (to d u s t)
and we will have nowhere to go to
no rising or setting fireball
king of the
(take off your crown)
dissapearing( )things
(step off your throne;fall to the ground)
and as we
chase the
t r a n s i e n t / starlight
we will skip across this nothingness
and forget about the day
and the stars(up there)
will only stare
[ and we will be - without a care ]
and those stars will implode...

to ILLumInate our SKIN

so instead we pass beneath the star;indifferent
nothingcankeep_usfromourselves
not_even_the colddarkdeepdepths of night
becuase the stars shine
and
radiate our skin
just line the sun(only le
ss obnoxious and more subtle,akin,
(perhaps)to sin)
and we would be so happy,
just to see a star
..explode..
