A quick WIP pic of the background layer of another new painting, based off a photograph I took the other night (which I may post later).

I wanted to make a triptych, and I happened to have a pack of 3 canvas boards. This is the orientation I was thinking about at first, but now I'm not sure they'll end up placed like this in the end.

The ghost image you can see through the color is from an under layer of acrylic I put down instead of drawing in the tree/branches. Not the greatest idea - while lately I've been making the background layer thin in comparison to the foreground, I had to make it extra thin so that I could still see my drawing!
