Well...that is the whole piece!

This piece took me ages to do, since I have a device time limit of one hour...(I know, quite garbage! )...but I did it! Done at last! I wanted to try and get this done before December 19th, which is Minnie's birthday AND 70th Anniversary of her strip. I can definitely say that THIS is her early birthday present. Yep! As a big Minnie the Minx fan (even if only reading modern Beano weekly), I want to make sure I give Minnie an amazing birthday present and what skill will lead me to making something good? Of course, a piece of artwork dedicated to her. And what inspired me to make this? A bunch of products related to her, when I found a post about the Beano talking about their products! Most of them have Minnie to mark her 70th anniversary!

Two of the panels were products from one brand. The other two were two different brands! I decided to do it this way because I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to try something to challenge myself and this was definitely one of them. I decided to go digital because that's where I make the details more amazing than ever (I can't really do that on traditional as good as digital) and also because I can draw what I wanted without having to worry about using my phone to look at the reference when drawing traditionally!

I took two poster prints from a shop: "Swallowed a fly" (unusual name I know) because I thought the two examples were perfect. I also took a design from Radley and one more poster print from V&A Dundee! I was originally was going to take one from the calendar but I thought "Nah, it's not that great" so I replaced it with the V&A one because it's more interesting.

This took me days. Maybe four to five days? Anyways, I felt so proud of this that maybe I might share this on other platforms to show the Beano social medias! Hopefully they will like it... Anyways, half term is here for me now!! That means two weeks of freedom! (or is it?) So I may have more time to draw and post. Anyways, have a brilliant day and I wish Minnie a thousand early birthday wishes...
