Inspired by this artwork: www.deviantart.com/igpayigpaya… , I decided to make something similar of two versions meeting each other...but this time, it's my first Beano oc, Vanessa! Wow, still striving to this day for almost two years now...

Vanessa was made when my Beano phase (which this account's art is based around off) was beginning to form and she was originally a self-insert (yes, I really did have brown hair with a golden ombre tip before it was cut off. No, my hair wasn't that long unfortuantly). She had quite a few changes throughout her lifespan as an oc! And as you can see, her jumper and her butterfly hair clip were both very different. Its surprising to see! I also drew art of her with Dennis in some sort of romantic manner before I joined Deviantart on June of 2023(they did break up at least earlier before that time because I didn't think it felt right anymore and it was also the beginning of thinking of Vee more as an oc than a self insert), a year after she was created and before she met Dexter on October 2023.

Anyway, I decided to do something different...I decided to do my old methods of drawing for each version! On the left side is what we have now and I used pen line art once again and this time used full on colouring pencils for colouring. For the right side is the 2022 version (aka the early version of her), I used pencil lineart since that was what I used at the time and the colouring is very different. Whilst I used the same colouring pencils, I did a different colouring method because before those pencils, I had like 12 colouring pencils from the Smiggle brand (they are good but now you can't get them, I reckon :C) and i've used them until I got new ones from Latvia!

Now I did another sticker overload and used a marker to do the purple outline for each one. And I also added the years to show which version is which!
