Profanity enjoying her second favorite pastime. loloololollolll mawlotov cawktailz r so punk rok. of course her actual... homuncu-power doesn't require an actual device to be made. but who doesn't love hucking flaming bottles of booze and/or kerosene at things?the actual power just kind of activates her ability to condense all the alcohol in her blood into a vapor in her lungs, and when exhaled forecefully she becomes a human hairspray torch. er... human0id? homunculus hairspray torch? whatever. she breathes fire. she doesn't need a match or a lighter, i figured, some magical alchemic reaction ignites the vapor if she so wishes. shut up dude, SLOTH IS WATER. alex fucking mack style.
Profanity doesn't always have to light her fire-breath when she breathes it though... the vapor itself results in everything from people reacting to it like teargas or it just relaxing them, depending on the strength. go. stick your nose down the neck of a bottle of 151. that's what kissing Profanity is like.

unfortuately if she doesn't drink for a period of time, her power will suffer in strength. this could be considered a weakness only if an enemy understood how her attack worked (but it's obvious). so she pours liquor down her throat at every opportunity, JUST IN CASE.
100% vector. it only took a couple of nights to draw, like the last few things i've submitted. I AM FINISHED SUBMITTING FOR A WHILE I PROMISE. i hate machine gunning subs as much as the next guy, really.

The idea is very well thought out and is very clever. I love it. And I know it must be tiring for you to hear this, but I really really really like how you color and the shadings too. In this drawing, the flame/torch cocktail (Never seen one in real life) is amazing. And the cigarette smoke, the effects are extordinary, I like the shining of the Profanity's purple optics too.

i love fire, and incorporating a scientific explanation (especially, THAT INCORPORATES BOOZE) into her power kind of goes along with the whole alchemy theme of no unexplained events (as ed put it when he fought greed).

yeah but since i kill myself pimpin' out colorjobs and can't draw too well inherently (like on the first try) i'll never make a good comic artist and have to pay people to be my pagemules while i get fat and lazy doing chapter pages and cover art.

she does. it's just a tolerance issue that she needs a lot more to be completely off her ass. and like i mentioned somewhere... like some of the people who went into her inspiration she usually has permadrunk. when she's completely sober she's sickly and irritable and less outgoing.

hahaa yes permadrunk... the scariest/most fun/most drama-bringing kind of people alive. rednecks, most of the time. the kind of people who never seme completely sober and when they are, you're scared to ask what kind of deadly force must dictate why.
and yes... you'd die trying to outdrink her. she's inhuman. i always said if i were a superhero i'd want to be killed by and then reborn by means of alcohol and have that as my superpower

you're not gonna believe this... so uncanny... but today in the paper i read a story, about a guy the pasco co. highway patrol arrested, who "appeared slightly intoxicated" but tested .48 for BAC. two hundredths shy of fifty percent. he was literally half alcohol. like, where was the rest of the blood in his body!? where did it go to make room for that much alcohol!? and he survived! with a run-of-the-mill hangover! i was like OMFG THAT IS SO PRO!!

wonderfull piece of work, absolutly. Love the passion of and for fire ... seen in here eyes the reflection of and the fire itself burning out of the bottle .. very well done. (love how you blend the pinkish colours within the "flame" , and hair ) Besides that you really portrait that nasty flirtatious, seducive look in here eyes and that grinn still holding that sigarett in her mouth... although looks can be deciving cause I'll bet she got her own agenda.
Somehow something reminds me - not in her character - of nightshade of C.O.P.S. (old cartoon early 90's "cops in the future") same seducing looks I guess.

....i had the same vectorforms from the SAME FIRE i've used every single time i need fire. D: i took them out. regular fire was hard enough dude... the super-hot alcohol fire was a pain. it kept getting way too purply on me. i'm glad you dig this though
