Gen Ben--? OH the commander guy. Got it. That's hilarious. xD
Good work so far. ;3 I've only typed out another couple paragraphs on my story so it's not like I've been doing any real work either.
But when do the kids come in? I was imagining she'd be at the daycare when the attacks started. Or she could go there after meeting with Gen Ben. Or somefin.
Squeee, she has a fox!!

Gen Ben, though most people called him General Benjamin until Joshing came along. Poor old man... had enough worries before that crazy lunatic started to run amok.
Thanks. ^^ I've been trying to type more often (and got a lot of work on another story done last night) but alas... a new car is a lot of responsibility. >.< And I've been driving around town a lot, fixing it up in little bits and pieces, and overall... it looks and works a lot more efficiently.
Most of them come in Ch 1. Do recall that it's been five years since the attacks started, and the kids have been wandering all over America and Canada. They have a few dozen little bases all over both countries. I'll do a detailed storyline about what Sparky's group did when their village was attacked and whatnot, k?
Yeppity yup yup. ^^

Hehe. Sparky would probably just call him General, right? Or Sir. Because she's so polite. xD
That's fun. :3 It does sound like a lot of work, though. All of my friends are still passing me on the journey to get a driver's liscence. Although I guess I do need to learn some time, because I'll be driving my wittle brother to school next year.
Oh, okay. That makes more sense to me now. ^^ Is Sparky gonna go to Canada??

Oh, I'd usually call anybody and everybody in authority over me as Sir or Ma'am. But Benjamin? And he's a General? You can't let a good prank go by unnoticed. >.>
It kinda gets boring after a while. I drove by myself to work, then to a restaurant (where I later met up with the rest of my family), and then drove to church. Then I drove from church home by myself, 'cause everyone else wanted to do something besides go home (I was tired). Yeah, you definitely need to learn how to drive; it's essential to survival in today's world.
Yesssss! She goes to Canada by cutting across America; I figured she'd drive, y'know? Prob'ly take a school bus.

Guess not.
Wow. The most I did today was drive home from my friend's house. But I did drive today so yay! 8D It's not as scary as I keep imagining it, but still...being on the open road with other cars driven by other people kind of unnerves me.
NO SHE SHOULD GO IN A FIRETRUCK!!!
Oh wait it's not a zombie apocalypse, is it? Okay, a school bus is fine. x3 She can commandeer one!

I call Chris - a manager at work - sir on occasion, and he just has to stop and laugh for a moment. I'd imagine I'm the only person to have ever called him "sir". I'd reckon that your guess is accurate as Vidar's aim.
Mmmhm. ^^ I'm hoping to hide from the car today, 'cause I been driving all over the place lately. I'm gonna run out of gas (money) before my next paycheck... But ah well! I hear ya on the unnerving stuff; even though I've been driving around two months (not to say that's a lot of time, kiddo), I'm reeeeeally paranoid about it all, still. Prob'ly for the best...

Well, seeing as I have no clue who Vidar is, I wouldn't know. ^^
I use sir and ma'am whenever it won't come off as sounding sarcastic. Or when I'm really trying to get on someone's good side.
Oh yeah. Gas is always an issue. >.> I'm starting to get chewed out by my mother because my dad keeps volunteering to drive me and my friends places, which takes time/gas/money. I see that as a little unfair, but she does have a point.
The thing I'm most worried about is learning to drive a stick shift. Because they're just scary.

Vidar - Norse for "forest warrior" - is a Dwarf of my own creation, who is the "Robin Hood of guns", in reference to his skillsssss.
Anybody in clear authority over me is likely to get called "sir" or "ma'am".
I want my second vehicle to be a hydrogen car, y'know? Be nice to the economy, wouldn't be running up my bills, etc. Of course, I have enough debts to pay off as is...
Oh, I've heard of those... One of my co-workers said he'd teach me someday. Also, one of my cousins is a speed demon perfectionist in those stick shifts.
(She terrified my uncle with her skills)
Of course not! Chinese are silly people, after all. They see such a thing, and they'll be running out of the way of the sirrrrrrrens.

Robin Hood of guns? xD Sounds exciting.
Yeah, a sweet little eco-friendly car would be nice. But I have to get my liscence first. >.>
Sticks are jerky. D: That's probably the main reason why I don't like them. And I have a habit of stalling the engine, which if I ever did that on the open road would probably get me killed.
Muahahaha! Evil school bus o' DOOM!!
Yeah, I can definitely see Sparky hotwiring a school bus for a ride. xD

Yeah, that's Vidar. Expert shot! And it's always exciting with him around... Hehe.
I hear ya... My car is very fuel-efficient and everything, which is good, 'cause I don't have the money to fill it up 8 times a month. >.>
Yeah, I can believe it. I've stopped at green lights, ran right up TO the stop sign (like... another two inches and I'd be in the intersection), and actually tried to pause the world just so I could get my bearings. I'm a mess. I stink at driving with others, too, because I'm so used to my parents telling me where to go and how to get there. I'm used to getting from Point A to Point B, and from Point A to Point C, not from Point B to Point C.
(My cousin has the same problem.)
"Alright, everyone, we're going to hotwire this and get out of here PRONTO!!! Oh, and we'll hopefully run over some Chinese on the way~"

Yaaaaay economy! 8D Though even if I did get a fuel-efficient zoom bug (my official nickname for small cars, after seeing my mother drive hers) I would still be paying a lot because I would take it on ROAD TRIPS. x3
Me with my dad in the car "WAIT where am I going??"
Actually I'm pretty good at navigating around places I've been many times before. Like to the grocery store or to school. Of course, it's easier in the day time when I can actually read the signs and stuff.
Woah I love it!! D'awww, I want a hat like Sparky's. x3 That's really, really good.

Zoom bug... Ah, road trips, something I sorta intend to do when I get a touch older. ... And join the Army. Great pay, can go to college, serve the nation, be a techy FAR FROM BATTLES; works for me. *two thumbs up*
I'll just stop asking pretty quick because my dad will ignore me or insult me with, "What?! Haven't you ever been here before?!" or whatever... and then my response will be, "Possibly, but in the past four years, I've only been three places in-town: McDonald's, church, school, and home." It would be then that I realize that's four. Tehehe. I go to Wal-Mart once every three months, so that's a big "Where in the world am I?" kind of moment. I prefer to travel solo to places I've been to before. Because having a person there next to me messed with my psyche; I'm too used to having a navigator. >.<
You're more than welcome to tell that to =DragonElement11 , too. X3 I figured you'd want that hat.

Is it a bad thing if I say no?
My friend wants to be a horse trainer person in the army. Thing. (I don't know too much about it since I plan on staying far away from that area of work)
I want my license now. D: I know how to drive! I can get places on my own! (somewhat) But now I have to learn how to drive the mother's car, which is going to be...well...scary. I already use enough of my brain during marching season, so I don't know when I'm going to learn how to think about what speed I'm going, where the clutch is, how to break, and other drivers on the road at the same time.
Ohyeah I guess they deserve to know how much I LOVE it... >.>

I can get to work, to church, and to school. Beyond that, I need directions. Agh, I know what you mean about using one's mind during marching season...

ahh, I hear ya. It's Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon for the DS. I wanna get that DSi thing someday; it's supposedly really cool and whatnot. Pokemon's good 'til you get used to the battle tactics of the NPC's and get bored. >.<
