Ranma1/2. I can reread that manga a bazillion times and still love each single panel.Although I like drawing women having actual hips (why all of these bony skeletons nowadays?), this might be a bit over the top. I rushed to get this done in one day, but I do not remember how many hours it took. Pfft, it is quite funny how their faces change so much they look like different persons in every panel.
It is strange, but whenever I try to draw a comic I am having lots of fun making up jokes until I get to the actual punch line. I can never come up with a punch line! What is wrong with me?
Anyways, I know that people often complain about Akane being violent, but this is a great example of why that might be a good thing. A pitiful little stomp is not funny. She should have sent him flying or something (it was fun drawing her degree of anger increasing though).

As I greatly admire Takahashi, for her marvelous storytelling just as much as I love her artwork, that was some mighty fine praise. Thank you so much.

I want to support Takahashi so I buy her works. They have already stopped the release of Inuyasha over here due to low sales, and most of her other series I must buy in English. I am currently trying my best to complete my Maison Ikkoku collection (kind of hard now when they have stopped reprinting it). I would miss out on a lot of Takahashi's wonderful series, though, if I did not read them online. Urusei Yatsura is just too good to miss out on. Haha, so I should not try to act innocent.

Last, if you want to read some of the stories go to the gallery to read them. As I said before I just gave the person the idea, it up to that person to do the writing and drawing of that idea.

It's kind of amazing that with Rumiko Takahashi 30 years was poor and now she is the highest paid mangaka. I mean when she was in her 20's she did both Urusei Yatsura and Maison Ikkoku at the same time. She would do UY every week and Maison Ikkoku every other week. When both series ended in 1987, she went onto Ranma 1/2 and that doesn't include her short stories. She literally is a workaholic.
You should also try her new series No-Rinne which I call Bleach lite.

If you want to do this too, you did one about Ranma's reaction and translation so how about doing on for Akane's reaction and translation. It good idea would be if you did one about Ranma either coming with his shirt off after a workout and Akane saying he's a pervert but in reality Akane is turned on by it or she walks in on him when he just finished taking a bath. Just throwing out that suggestion.

Rumiko Takahashi is my favorite manga-ka so I am keeping quite a close watch on any info I can get. Furinkan is definitely the best Takahashi website out there (very up to date with news and very reliable. The Acres brothers deserve a lot of praise for their great dedication) and I have been a lurker on the forum for years. Well, I did get an account but now I am reminded that it was quite a few weeks ago that I last logged in 
RIN-NE is getting better and better for each new week. I was very excited when I heard about it for the first time and I was crossing my fingers for a romantic comedy. Takahashi is talented enough to handle any genre, but I think that romantic comedies are her specialty. It was very frustrating that it took a couple of weeks before the website would let me read RIN-NE though XD but now I am eagerly looking forward to it every Wednesday. Actually, I have a RIN-NE fanart in my gallery.
ranmaonehalf is a very talented artist. Those were some quite nice drawings and how nice that you could inspire. I will consider your suggestion.

Aw, poor Ranma with his foot-in-mouth desease. He was really trying thought.
I think that stomp to the head in those heels would cause bleeding.
Their expressions throught and Mr. Saotome made me laugh though.
The outfit does kind of remind me of a sluttier version of the clothes she normally wears, it is very 'Akane'.
Oh, and I second the first statement about the manga itself. I coulnd never stop loving/laughing at the story.

Thank you(^-^) It is always nice to run into a Ranma1/2 fan (I think that the day I stop loving/laughing at that story is the day I die).
I really think that Akane wears a lot of cute outfits. I have always liked them. It's a relief to hear that the clothes I drew (although I doubt she'll ever wear them seeing how she has reacted on Ranma wearing short skirts) were not too far off from her usual style.
