Sort of a random character to talk about now, but look, I wanted to draw a SlimeScale.

Loach is King Chance's grandmother from his father's, King Corrosion's side. She used to be one of the Queens to King Corrosion's father (who cares what his name was) along with Ex-Queen Flow, whom Loach didn't exactly get along with.

Loach took a particular liking to her son, Corrosion, even over her other child. He was a bit sickly, but had a bright mind, charisma and hope - that was only bolstered by Loach praising him. She really pushed for him to become the next King.

The only problem was, was Corrosion's struggle with health.
It was a real concern to Loach that he may perish before he ever really had a chance to shine - or eventually be deemed to sickly to lead properly. And Loach had really, truly, desperately tried to cure him somehow, but every doctor told her there just wasn't a way.

But luckily, the King died unexpectedly early from slime poisoning (assumed to have been an accident, and unfortunately was discovered too late to be cured) and Corrosion was able to become the next King, as he was the most promising heir.

Loach was even able to stick around after she was officially an Ex-Queen, having some influence on the decisions here or there - always in favor of Corrosion, of course.

Loach was devastated when Corrosion suddenly died and they say she was never quite the same since, becoming much more gloomy and tired. She didn't find that any of the heirs could match up to their father, and reluctantly pushed for Chance to become the next ruler (perhaps only because he looked the closest to Corrosion.)

Loach still has similar influence on decisions as she had before, and she's considered a good source on past decisions (since she was there, duh.) Although, not as passionate as she was before, Loach will defend any rules her son had made with her life.

Oh yeah, and she may have made some shady deals on the side to trade SlimeScale poison to some SoarScales, which might relate to something else
