Backstory
To Skelly ghost were a normal thing living in lavender town as a kid. However one day venturing through the forest and looking for foragables the fog seemed to thicken out of no where. Skelly had though he knew of almost all ghost pokemon (only from the ones he's ever seen, which wasn't very many in the town). In the distance of the fog there had been a new silhouette of a ghost, which was darker and smaller with little puffs of clouds coming off of it. This new discovery sparked an interest in him to find the pokemon he saw that day.
Now that Skelly is older he left Lavender Town to travel and research more about the various pokemon but more specifically ghost pokemon. Although he hasn't been around a lot of places since he's still starting, he made a few stops. His gengar, Gingie he found in a graveyard. He enjoyed visiting the place often and leaving lavender on the grave stones however one day the gengar tried to scare him as a prank, though instead of getting scared it was actually funny. Soon it became daily visits until one day the gengar left with him and now they travel together, where they end up in Lera.
