Description I want to know whether people think that exposing armpit and arm hair is acceptable in a lady or not, and their reasons.

It's a huge turn off for me, I don't like it on a lady.

Thanks again for your opinions, I'm glad there's both men and women contributing!

What about the arm hair, anyone?

I personally couldn't go out on the street with armpit hair showing but, I'm perfectly ok with arm hair.
If other people want to go out with armpit hair showing, then so be it. It's not our body soe really shouldn't judge.

Hell, I find it unacceptable when a man does it haha. There seems to be some sort of general consensus among men that the less hair on a woman the better, which seems almost paedophilic in a way. I suppose I really don't care, at least not all that much. All I know is that shaving any other part of my body besides the face is a real pain in the ass, so I feel if a woman doesn't want to go through that she shouldn't have to. Though I am but one man in a sea of opposite thinkers.

In my opinion a lady should be free of hair for the reason of having a cleaner hygiene than men. But I do recall seeing ladies with hairy armpits, to each it's own I guess.

i was born in Germany and bought up in England, so when I was going through High School they all made out that I didn't shave my under arms and it really frustrated me.

Life, sure but even so...

I used to feel that way until I was about ten... saw a woman with a ton of hair in a tank top.

Standard stuff popped into my head, "Ew, gross! Nasty!" Then something clicked; "Wait a minute, you're getting disgusted by hair?" I said to myself. Then I thought about it; smooth, soft, etc. Nothing at all wrong with it! And all this about it being unclean is B.S.; guys have it and we're not dirty so what's the big deal?

I had been under the influence of society and snapped out. But I find the fact that it's so looked down on sort of exciting.

I've had long hair and short hair, neither really seems that big a deal in regard to heat.

Well, I think armpits don't have to be like supersmooth but as much hair as on the picture is just simply unattractive. Or well, that is my opinion, maybe there are people who think it looks wonderful. XD
