Left behindYou began to walk away,
leaveing me to cry.
As you walk I listen to the words you say,
And all I can do is say "why?"
You turn and scowl, speaking in a harsh tone,
You say "I dont need you any longer."
And turn to walk away, with your cold heart of stone.
As you walk I wonder.
"Why do you act like this?"
You start to laugh, not caring for my pain,
And say "You were just a tool to me."
Now walking away, to leave me cold in the rain.
And all I can say is that "I was a fool not to see."
Because you never loved me...
I start to stand and my tears fall down,
As I run after you, the one whos so proud.
Now I have stopped you, you dont make a sound.
Befor I can speak you turn around.
And over the rain I yell...
"Dont leave me behind!"
You suddenly turn and hit me hard,
But now I cant feel a thing.
And I wonder "Why is it so hard?"
Because now I feel like a bird with a broken wing.
I look back up and you are gone,
I stare at the sky.
As I wonder how long,
And I wonder why...
"Have I been left behind?"
