Like two Fae of different form
we come together and dance.
Like fire and water we are to meet,
under fated circumstance.
We shift and dance -
or fight and play.
We are two unique forces,
who stay allies through the day.
Like light and dark we do pursue
each other’s vibrant form.
Then stay in place at the other’s side
when one of us is worn.
Like earth and ice we stand our ground
being shelter for another.
Yet at the same time we may endanger,
the safety of the other.
As it is, we are our own.
So different, but in ways the same.
Even so, we’ve come to be,
a force that cannot be tamed.
Here and now and at this time,
this Fae has chosen you.
To give my love, and hope in turn,
that you can love me too.
