NightwishI wish to be nocturnal.
To be one with the night.
Darkness encasing, surrounding,
At peace in the inky black.
Floating around aimlessly.
No real aim but to be real.
They can’t find me here,
This is where I am safe.
Oh how I wish I could stay,
Here in the night.
Only a few hours till the day,
When everything turns back to light.
Sun rising, the world with it.
I awaken realising nothings changed.
Another day as me.
As someone I don’t want to be.
