A few days ago somebody asked me about my drop photos. So I stumbled about this photo which is really nothing special. I just love this drop photos and the sharpness of it and decide to share it (just 4 fun, I know that this is a old and often used motive).Just enjoy

I don't want to say i am behind in my comments or anything, but I really should have said something about this shot earlier. I love the classic simplicity of the shot. There is always something beautiful and inviting about drop shots, especially of cool clear water. It may not be anything special to you, but it screams volumes to me about how precious water is to life. I think that is what draws us to images of water, be they single drops, waterfalls, lakes or the ocean. Well composed and executed.

Sure it's a cliche concept, but this is beautiful nonetheless. It's so clear and beautiful. How did you even set this shot up? Water's something I want to start experimenting with in photography. The background is so professional. Great lighting. Overall really good job.

I'm curious about your lighting.
I was playing around with drips & drops 2 weeks ago and my major problem was not having enuf diffused light with higer apertures. I settled on f3.3 and gettting a drip in focus was pure chance.

done to death yes, but still it's ridiculously hard to achieve, it's up there with shooting glass x_x
