I love it, the colors, the composition, the fog and the color of the sky give a mystic touch to the atmosphere

Not to be a stick-in-the-mud, but you should be posting many of your images, including this one, in the "photo manipulated" category. Nice composition though, and a very nice castle indeed.

Wow!! The clouds and the mist combine to give it a vampire-esque feel to it. I seriously don't know how else to describe it. But it looks like Dracula's castle or something along the lines of that. Great atmosphere. Well done!!

Wow...what captured my attention first was the title...And then when i went to full view this...i was stunned speechless...

I have always adored castles, loved how majestic but yet errie at the same time..And like the others, i gotta agree that you were at the right place and at the right time!!

loved how the fog seemed to have cast an even more errie feel to it...

actually i ruined it to strahd's castle , if you read the "i strahd" you'll probably understand what i mean ..

and the cloud shades are just perfect , it seems like a fantastic drawing , really nice ..

It is the dark and foreboding clouds that conjure the mood in this photo. To my eyes they almost seem as if they are about to close in and secret away this castle. I have seen pictures of this castle but a great many of them show it in bright sunny weather. Your shot seems to speak about the castle's dark past (if I am correct on this, I believe the the last(?) king/prince was very insane).

sieht gut. das schloss an sich sowieso (vor allem, wenn keine touristenmassen in der nähe sind) aber auch die umsetzung im foto. allerdings wirkt die wolke oben recht ein wenig reinkopiert, sie scheint etwas zu groß/zu nah zu sein, als wäre sie mit einer anderen brennweite (einer größeren) aufgenommen. macht sich aber trotzdem gut, vielleicht auch symbolisch für den gewissen schatten, der an neuschwanstein und ludwig II haftet.
schönes foto jedenfalls.

Ich habe ein Projekt in meiner deutschen Klasse über das gemacht. Wir mußten eine Broschüre bilden. Ich möchte Deutschland dieser Sommer besuchen, und ich hoffe, dieses Schloß zu besuchen! Es ist sehr schön und geheimnisvoll. Sehr nette Abbildung von ihr. Fantastisch! Deine Fotos sind immer toll. ^^
