If you remember the scene from the 1987 animated film The Brave Little Toaster, where the titular Toaster has a nightmare about a giant demonic clown (dressed as a firefighter) terrorizing him with a hose that shoots forks, well that clown scared the crap out of me when I was a toddler, especially when he leans over to the Toaster & whispers "Run!". & here's SpongeBob & Patrick's reaction to him!
