Reminds me of the time I played Hey You Pikachu for N64. They should make a new version and use a Pikachu that looks like that [points to your drawing] in the game. So cyute that I have to misspell cute! XD

I find it extremely upsetting when people submit things to this site but discourage critiques, to me this seems to go directly against the point of the site all together. That being said, this is just wonderful, I love the semi crude hand drawn feel of this and I think the pose so accurately expresses the personality of this playful pikachu. I think its very difficult to be so proficient at art that you can portray things in this child like style yet be so accurate that the personality and whimsy really come though. This is really great, you should be very proud of what you've done here.

Maybe to you. The point of DA is not to critique artwork. Some people like getting critique, and it hurts some people's feelings (or, they already know what's wrong and don't need to hear it). I personally just draw for fun, so I don't really want them. They don't tend to help me anyway.

I guess I just feel like if you given the opportunity to have praise heaped upon you then you should be open to hear when you messed up as well. Its nice to hear that you're so capable that it doesn't take much effort for you get things just right, your very lucky.

But if one already knows, or it offends htem, they should have the right to choose not to hear it. Also, a few people are very mean when it comes to critiqueing and some of us can't take that. I just draw for fun, so, I tend to get upset when people pick it appart.
