Description After 12 hours, it is finally complete! Colored version of:A Trail with Pastoral Remark
Prize to estories  for finding out the secret in my previous long-work, Timeless Truth, featuring Alice and Silverlay!

Couple things:
YES, those are actually REAL constellations in their appropriate places; with Spike in Pisces, Silverlay in Pegasus, Applejack in Equuleus, Marine(OC) as Delphinus, and an arrow for Sagitta.

The mountains were actually taken from an inspiration from a view I remembered from Innsbruck, Austria.

Finally, as a favor for you all, I know I am new to deviantart, but through this work, I want to remind anyone that when people give compliments or give me any shape of confidence, I will gladly return with gifts and works that I promise will be something that one of kind and from deep within my heart.

Alice and Silverlay belongs to estories

This picture pretty much solidified my decision to watch you. This is an absolutely magnificent landscape. It reminds me of a phrase: "A picture should capture reality instead of copying it." I thought this, because despite the fact this has a good does of fantastical colour palette, it actually reminded me of my mountain tracking vacation. No photo or realistic picture of mountains evoked the same feeling I have had while on that vacation, except this one. When I look at this, I have the same gentle feeling, as if I was actually walking around the grassy path myself.

Your use of colour is spectacular! The orange and blue create such beautiful contrast between one another and star with the constellations. I also appreciate the extra detail in the surrounding environment, from the distant trees, the lakes below reflecting the orange glow, to the small cottage on the left and all the grass around it. It makes it feel really believable. Like I've said, this really makes me feel as if I was standing there, watching the sunset, feeling the breeze ... it's just gorgeous and in my humble opinion, the best piece in your gallery. I may be biased because of my sentimental feelings and love for trips around hilly landscapes but it is what it is.
