Brand new cosplay- Suki, Avatar: The Last Airbender!Debut: Otakon 2010~
I wore this cosplay both Friday and Saturday with the brilliant ~BerryCollector as my Katara! Did you see us, Otakon people?
This is from the Saturday Avatar: The Last Airbender Photoshoot!
I'm the Suki on the left, and is Avatar Kyoshi in the center! (EDIT) The Azula-as-Kyoshi on the right is !Costume Details
~ Wig ~
D.Boy wig, Fire Red (Cosworx)
~ Headdress ~
Craft foam (spraypainted, aged, and sealed), chopsticks. The tassles are window drape cording thingies
. Poker chips and yen also make for fun additions on the headpiece. ^^~ Armour ~
Lawl everyone, I /really/ do appreciate all the compliments on my leather work, but, uh, craft foam. Seriously. Craft foam. XD
A shout-out to the beautiful who saved my butt and explained to me the wonders of craft foam! I love your Suki rendition, and thank you SO SO SO much for talking me through mine!

I wanted to cosplay as suki actualy so any tips on either buying or making the outfit??

Oh, but of course! I'd be happy to help! ^^ Is there any part of the cosplay in particular you're having trouble with?
1000x I recommend making it, because then you know it'll fit and it'll be just the way you want.
I put costume info like the makeup/wig/basic materials in the artist's comments, which should get you started! Feel free to ask if you'd like more detail!

I work veryyyy slowly, lol, and on-and-off. Armour took a solid week of summer to be 100% finished and fitted to me (and I had to re-design the side supports to elastic, so that wasted a day.)
The skirts weren't too bad, maybe a day or two each? The shirt was a bit of a pain (because I kept messing up the gathering on the sleeves), so that maybe took three.
I'd suggest not sticking to my time frame absolutely, start a coupe months early and work when you can.

Avatar is really fun, there's a lot of random "Secret Tunnel" singing and fake battles.
Best of luck on the Rave Master stuff! Not the easiest set of cosplays there.
