For the past few days me and have been bouncing ideas off each other about our respective aliens. These are one of mine, I have several.

They're a revamp of old race of people I had for a fantasy story. I've just converted them to space. Cause Space stories are just SO MUCH easier to tell than fantasy ones. Not that this story makes a lick of sense right now. I mean, it's full of space magic.

Anyway, these fish people hail from their home planet of Tuldem. I don't know what to call them yet, so I'm lovingly referring to them as fish faces. Their home planet is mostly made up of water, but with some large landmass, so they've evolved as amphibious/ocean reptile type guys. They also don't have much distinction between the genders as far as body-types and chests go. They have fin-hair and the plates on the back of their heads/neck are also on their backs, much like a turtle shell.

The guy on the left is Marduke, one of the main characters of this story. He's pretty cool. The big crocodile monster in the middle is an unnamed intelligent reptile. They're massive and each "colony ship" has one on board. They're psychically linked with the rest of their kind (there's only about 10 of these guys alive at one time) and serve as the central government of the fish people. Hooray. The right is a "delegate" usually modeled after jellyfish. They are in charge of relaying the messages and judgments of he reptile guys to their people. Under her is like, just some racial facial-features for me to remember.
