On this day (5/12) 79 years ago, came the highly memorable legacy which was responsible for the creation of Thomas And Friends/Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends for TV by Britt Allcroft and David Mitton: The Railway Series.Happy 79th Anniversary as well as thank you Reverend Wilbert Awdry and his son, Christopher, for creating these books which inspired so many as well as hope it does for additional many years yet to come.
When working on Thomas (original engine version), hardest part was illustrating the wheels for the first time. Also never realizing it, Happy belated National Train Day (5/11) too.
