I have two "other folders" (one created afterwards because I forgot about the first) that's...filled with junk I never actually get to, and it gets larger every day but some things in there are genuinely useful to me lol.

This is great advice! :0
I like how you not only point the problem out, but offer a good way to help overcome it (instead of making us search the internet to find answers). Great job on this, and congrats on the DD~!

there is also another book with the same title but it is about gaming not comics
personally though i do this with reading so i am not much inclined to change my habit, i am content to 'waste' my life consuming

see, after reading this i was like "thats so true..." and felt bad about how i pretty much spend all day on my computer. so i get off DA, and i'm like what can i do? i don't have a job because i'm still in high school, and i have a week before school starts again, i cant drive anywhere to do anything, and all of my friends either had something going on or their parents said no. i don't have a book to read, and television bores me. i would go for a run but my dad doesn't want me to go outside because its almost dinner, and after dinner it will be dark out.

Fantastic. For that reason I refuse stoically to not get an iphone or a mobile that can handle internet access. Hometime is tech time.

Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.
Death can come any time for me, I have nothing to regret and everything to look back at.
The only thing I'll be sad about once I die is, that I can't "waste" more time enjoying myself on the internet
