Your description cracked me up - I think my mother WOULD want this one to herself. (She can't have him, though, because I saw him first!)
GORGEOUS painting; I especially love the tattoos and the way you didn't overdo how 'cut' he is. He looks like he'd be an excellent dancer, as well as probably being able to kill you before you notice he's there.

Thought Tolkien elves (main inspiration for all fantasy elves) were supposed to be exactly like this one.

you'd think he'd be cold out there, and i'd say his bulk is about right, not all elves are going to be all stick like he seems to have the gymnast build applied to up close and stabby goodness and could probly suck up a hit or two from a raging orc or tin clad human or dwarf.

*Shrugs* Well it wasn't her and I can't help what people thinks she looks like as I have learned from past illustrations. Everyone always thinks someone looks like somebody else. Anyway you haven't seen the suped up alien version I've been working on. Maybe that ought to make a difference. Thanks though.
