I did! Except for the rocky terrains, and of course the music track. But the Zoids, the base, the animation, rendering and sequence are all by me.

This is something most people only dream of doing. It looks like a lot of time and effort and love went into this. I love your zoid designs, and it's cool to see the previous animations (Cheese it Blitz Panther!) put into use. It looks really good! Awesome work, keep it up!

Ahhh, figures it would be Maya. I could see Blender doing something like this, too.
I would get the trial but my computer can't handle it at the moment.

No specific tips really, I'm not exactly a pro myself! Just lots of practice, and use the built-in tutorials. Look into Learning Maya books as well, nothing beats having the instructions on paper in front of you.
