Description
Typically I make my paper roses from plain colored cardstock. A friend of mine who was about to get married had asked if I ever made them with crazy patterns. So, without telling her, I began work on this bouquet for a gift. All the the paper used is archival quality patterned paper (9 different patterns for the petals and another one for the leaves. The centers on this roses are a mixture of green floral fill gems and glow-in-the-dark floral fill chunks. The stems are wire and paper straws wrapped with holographic tape and waxed floral tape. Once completed the roses were placed in a glass vase with clear glass beads. A glittery green ribbon and felt butterfly were added for accent.
Pictured here is a single rose from the full bouquet.
