Description
Probably not gonna be added to the Nowra dex, but I remembered a really old Fakemon design I had and felt the need to revive it. Probably could be considered a "regional fake" along the lines of Wiglett and Toedscool, but it diverges from its counterpart upon evolving.Wooloof (from Wooloo, wolf, and woof)
Sheep's Clothing Pokémon
Type: Dark
HT: 2'00" / 0.6m
WT: 13.2lbs / 6.0kg
Ability: Fluffy (Hidden Ability: Fur Coat)
Pokédex Entry 1: It hides among flocks of Wooloo to steal food and parental care from the younger members. Because of this, farmers despise Wooloof.
Pokédex Entry 2: It is unclear whether Wooloof's fleece grows from its own body or is collected from real Wooloo. It attacks anyone who mistakenly tries to shear it.
Dubwoolf (from Dubwool and wolf)
Sheep's Clothing Pokémon
Type: Dark/Fairy
HT: 5'03" / 1.6m
WT: 149.9lbs / 68.0kg
Ability: Fluffy (Hidden Ability: Fur Coat)
Pokédex Entry 1: It has a very haughty demeanor, taking pride in the coat it wears and the horn it uses as a cane. This Pokémon once inspired an aristocratic fashion statement.
Pokédex Entry 2: It hunts down other Pokémon to wear as trophies. It especially likes the soft fleece and distinct pattern of Dubwool, and it will even turn one's horns into a cane-like accessory.
Inspired by the saying "a wolf in sheep's clothing" and the Big Bad Wolf in fairytales, especially versions of the wolf that disguise themselves such as in Little Red Riding Hood. Dubwoolf also takes inspiration from Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmatians (I couldn't pass up the connection between the character and the idea of wearing another creature's spotted fur/wool/whatever as a fancy coat) and poodles.
