The Oak and the Reed Stable is located in Washington State, USA, on the coast

Parking lot: a place for all guests, visitors, and employees to park their cars while at the facility

Dorm 1 and 2: Housing for guests and Employees to say while at the facility

Trailer parking lot: Place for all guest’s and employee’s horse trailers to be parked. Campers may also be parked here

Equipment storage: Wearhouse where we store all machinery for the facility while not in use

Feed storage: where all hay and grain is stored and prepared for the horses 

Tack room: large tack room for everyone to keep their tack. Because of the many different people who use the tack room, there are saddle sized “lockers” to keep all tack in, as well as a lockable drawer for brushes and Misc. Items.

Covered arena: the main arena at ORS. There is a plathway Running on every side of the arena, allowing people to watch what’s going on on every side. a white solid fence blocks off the arena from the path. There are large gaits on every side to allow access into the arena.

Covered hot walker: a covered electronic hot walker to be used to walk horses out or for general exercise. All horses must be supervised if using the hot walker. This hot walker can lead up to 4 horses at once. It leads a horse by a rope leading from the horse’s halter to the hot walker. there are 3 different speeds, slow, medium, and fast.

Main stable: All ORS geldings and mares are kept in this stable. Has two wash racks, 2 drying stations (located inside one wash racks), a small tack room, and 2 cross ties. Horses may also be tied in front of their stalls

Guest Stable: All guest horses (excluding Stallions) staying or showing at ORS are kept here. There is one wash rack, a drying station (located inside one wash racks), and 3 cross ties. Horses may also be tied in front of their stalls

Stallion Stable: all ORS Stallions and guest Stallions stay here. Has two wash racks, 2 drying stations (located inside one wash racks)  a small tack room, and 2 cross ties. Horses may also be tied in front of their stalls

Breeding Stable: The barn where live breedings happen, straws are collected from Stallions, and AIs can be done on mares. Mares are checked for pregnancy in this barn. Has a small paddock for live breedings.

Mare and foal Stables: all Pregnant mares and mares with young foals are kept here.  
This barn has a small storage room for various supplies used for taking care of foals and helping with the birthing process if necessary. When a foal is to be weaned, The foal is left in the stall while the mother is taken away. Once weened, the foal can then be Transfered over to the Main or Stallion Stable.

Outdoor arena: Outdoor arena to be used when the weather is nice.

Round pens: round pens for anyone to use.

 Paddocks: paddocks for anyone to turn their horses out in. One stall is located in the paddock, as well as a water trough. 

Pastures: pastures for anyone to turn their horses out into if they want to stretch their legs and graze.  Mares are to be kept in pasture one, Geldings are to be kept in pasture 2, and Stallions are to be kept in pasture 3
