More light fury cosplay for your enjoyment 😍 When I started dreaming this up I realized I wanted to use Astrid’s wedding dress as a starting point for this costume. Looking at her dress I realized it should be a dress and an overdress—two separate pieces, which allowed me to play with the fabric textures: a metallic crystal threaded linen base and a shiny cotton blend satin for the overdress. It was only as I was reaching crush time that I decided to go with fur over embroidery for the extra details representing the light fury’s stripes in the hidden world. I think the fur was 💯 the right choice. On the day of the photo shoot I forgot the laces for the overdress but it stayed in place nicely with just the belt. Another fun fact, I made ears for this but they were too big and took away from the overall look.
