Description
A triptych (piece of art in three pieces) of a red rose against a rich, dark blue background, done in acrylic on canvas board. I had to SERIOUSLY darken it on the computer because it wasn't getting the darker and richer side fo the paints' colors.I just wanted to do a triptych for a change.
This piece, as an original, is one of the pieces I have for sale under the following conditions (assuming of course, that anybody wants it):
*Purchased as a set only (it'd be silly not to, though, heh)
*Shipping/handling ($5.00 USD) is paid by buyer. I will pack it VERY well, trust me!
*Check or cash only, and understandably, if you pay by check, I will want to wait until I'm sure your check will clear before I send the piece.
*You promise to take good care of the piece - get it framed by a professional who knows what they're doing, pronto!
Price for set is $10 USD, plus the shipping of course, for a total of $15 USD.
Back of each piece of the triptych includes the name of the piece, my name, the medium, and the date created (on July 12 of 2004, in case you're wondering). Also includes a fingerprint thingy just because I wanted to mess around with the ink pad. XD
The painting was acrylic on an acrylic-primed canvas board that was advertized as "archival quality"; this means that it should NOT peel away from the canvas board (oil over acrylic or oil that hasn't been conditioned in a reaaaly long time has a tendency to do that; acrylic is less fussy), and that the canvas board should not damage the piece (although of course, you will always want to keep it away from moisture anyway!). Each section of the triptych is 4x5 inches (*approximately* 10x15 cm).
Anyway... I like the colors in this, especially the blue... oh, and I only arranged them the way I did in the scan because otherwise, they wouldn't have fit on the flat bed scanner in one scan!
