i'm suffering
from wanderlust
but all i want is sleep
and a warmer blanket
because this northern winter has
got me
looking everywhere
else
for anything
better than this

but everything is better than
being here alone, without you, and
how am i supposed to cope when you
were the only
thing that made me
feel less alone

i learned to read, write, and
survive but learning to be
alone
is so much harder than all of this
