So there was one line in the Knowledge Book that stood out to me:“You don't get to choose when you time travel or when you return, but you already know that, and that is something that will remain true.”
Karl may not get to decide when he leaves the Inbetween. I thought that perhaps he’d still be able to see what’s going on with current events, maybe via a magic mirror or the god DreamXD. He’d be able to observe, but never interfere.
