The black really does emphasize the 3D-ness of the people. That coupled with the vibrancy of the background make it a pleasure to look at.

congrats on the daily deviation, my friend... the colors in this one are absolutely fantastic, and i love the style... what strikes me the most is the way you distinguished the shadows on their skin, and again, the contrasting orange and blue tones... absolutely wonderful!

Brilliant use of colors...a vibrant contrast of different shades and tones.
I like the intricate yet clever way of expressing three woman gathering fruit in baskets. Wonderful approach this concept.
