The element of Earth is the grounded element. Those who fall under this element tend to be the work-horses of society, to put it bluntly. The element of Earth is about stability, about being fixed or rooted to something. Earthen people tend to be very organized, disciplined, and dependable. They also tend to value physical health very highly, and are very "home oriented", if that makes any sense. Methodical, rigid, and patient, these people can often not be seen, since most of them typically prefer to be behind the scenes. Earthen people also may have a strong need for security, and may also worry a lot. Those who fall under this element tend to set and strictly follow routine, which may, as well, make them predictable to a certain degree. When someone born under the element of Earth makes up their mind about something, they are practically immovable on the subject. To experience the element of Earth, I have but one suggestion: Ground. Meditate and visualize the life-energy in you as being a golden flow of light in your body, see it rooting downwards, all the way to the core of the earth. Once you reach it, with each inhalation, see a silver stream of energy intertwining with your own, rooting back upwards towards you. With each passing breathe see it reaching up through the soles of your feet, through your legs, up through you chest and arms, and finally through your face and out upwards through the crown of your skull. Let this feeling of calm be known as your Earthen grounding experience.
