Description
Fourbound was a Homestuck RP between me and a few of my friends that never quite managed to get off the ground. I'm very fond of these characters, though. Their designs and personalities belong to me; please do not use them. The Betas (left to right, top row):
jollyTadpole
Gabe Temple, the Heir of Space. He is sweet and optimistic, but also terribly stupid and hopelessly naive. He lives in a suburban home with his Dad who owns and runs a fancy dress shop. More often than not, his complete lack of common sense will cause some kind of trouble somewhere, and he relies on his friends to look out for him when it does. He is also a hoarder and will collect anything and everything he thinks is "cool", resulting in a bedroom that looks more like a landfill.
sentimentalCalligraphy
Ruth Meyers, the Maid of Blood. She is overly dramatic and whimsical, but is capable and feisty in a pinch. Dressing in clothes that are intentionally dated, she resides in the dusty book-strewn attic of her drunken Grandfather's bookstore out in the hinterlands. Unsurprisingly, the shop sees few customers, and yet somehow her Grandfather manages to pay not only for their upkeep but what seems like a weekly vat of red wineShe yearns to be a best-selling novelist of thriller novels and takes delight in any kind of depraved gore whilst still somehow considering herself to be more refined and mature than she actually is.
aeonianVelocity
Ruskin Termas, the Knight of Void. An impulsive and somewhat brattish character who has no time for those in the slow lane of life. When he's not hitting on or insulting everything within a five-mile radius, he builds engines and vehicles to race across the deserted fields in which he lives. He also spends far too much of his time than he likes hunting woolbeasts for his crippled lusus, Chupacabro.
distantAmoeba
Astrix Khalai, the Soul of Heart. Her quiet and practically stoic manner comes from a fateful "accident" involving a former moirail and a javelin through the throat. Now rendered mute, she is a loner who has lost her zest for life and spends her time filling the resulting void with stargazing, playing videogames and collecting shells from the beach by her tower to create tuneful windchimes. Her lusus is a creature known as a Lupinska, a dragon/rabbit hybrid, and she has a strange and distant relationship with the usually absent guardian.
The Alphas (left to right, bottom row):
seargeantSlipstitch
Ozzy Temple, the Rogue of Mind. He is upbeat, laid back and generally the best guy ever whether you like it or not. Besides being a rabid Squiddle fan (which extends to cosplaying as his OC character Seargeant Slipstitch and his trusty sidekick Squidvester), he is gifted with a knack for fabrics and creates all manners of costumes and plushies in his downtown city apartment. Meanwhile, his loving and bumbling father runs a tiny bric-a-brac shop and generally leaves him to do his own thing, which suits him just fine.
orwellianOutlook
Bill Meyers, the Page of Light. He is grumpy, awkward and perhaps a little depressed. His life has been incredibly sheltered due to being the heir of a vast fortune his celebrated author of a Grandmother left him in her will along with the stipulation that he must remain in his British mansion home until the age of 18 "for his own good". Whilst his every whim is catered for -- as long as it doesn't involve leaving the property -- he longs for the freedom of his friends, a situation that fuels a less-than-hidden jealousy for some douchebag named Ozzy. He also has a bit of a thing for grim dystopias and novels with sad endings.
cardinalAdmiral
Duvroc Marqes, the Guide of Time. On the outside, he is formal, blunt, extremely charitable and perhaps a bit too serious than his "perfect life" in a lavish castle located in an attractive swamp would indicate. On the inside, he is terribly uneasy about his place in the world, despite his fervent dreams of piloting a spaceship in the Royal Exploration Fleet. Why is he so subtly condescending to those of warmer blood? And why does it feel so good?... Despite those questions keeping him awake at night, his lusus Evegenis usually manages to soothe his nerves with his haunting panpine refrains.
euphoricAria
Serime Lyzali, the Witch of Breath. She is the very definition of a peaceful and carefree soul, being seemingly devoid of a temper or a single bad thought. This is the result of a near-death experience in her younger years when she fell from the balcony of her riverside hive and nearly drowned. Her rescuer, another resident of the same communal hives, later became her matesprit, and she herself became a firm believer in fate; should misfortune befall her now, she smiles at her myna bird lusus and says, "that's life!" She is lucky enough to have a great singing voice (not unlike her tragic dancecestor before her accident) and takes great joy in showing this off as often as possible.
All of these characters can be encountered on Pesterchum; don't be shy to say hi!
