Description
Edit: Okay I see a few things I need to add. I will after my tablet decides to stop being broken ;A;Added more info and references.
Here is my short and sweet wing tutorial. It is not very long, or descriptive, but I tried. It leaves you to do things more for yourself and look at reference photos ^^
I am not a wing god, I make mistakes. This was as much for me, as for you. The more you try, the better you will get!
Enjoy! If you have an suggestions leave a comment, and I will try to answer/include it.

Ow this was good! :3 It's always great to see proper wing tutorials because so many of them are horrible.
As a small critique I could say that you haven't paid any attention to the overlapping of feathers. Firstly, in your lowest example (where the hawk stretches it's right wing) the feathers are completely backwards. :') For me it looks the same as a human's hand being placed palm upwards. So try to pay attention to that. ^^

Really? I was looking at a photo for that pose, and I did exactly as I saw it. I notice on some birds the overlapping feathers are more noticeable on certain sides then others. Like on top I see more scrambled marginal coverts, or sometimes on the bottom. Bah, I will have to pay more attention next time xD

Well sometimes the light may distract you. Feathers are a bit transparent and may look like they're overlapping differently. That's why I don't always recommend to use just one picture as a reference. : D
