Here is the second zine I ever self published. It came out in 2014, but I actually started working on in before "In the Name of Science!".
I got sponsored by my university, through a project from the province municipality, to create this book. 1000s of them were handed out to possible students to be who were interested in the food technology education.
Over Eten gaat, zoals je wel kan raden, over eten. Eten is een eerste levensbehoefte. Iedereen eet en overal waar je kijkt is eten. Eten bij je thuis, eten in de winkels, eten onderweg. De kans is groot dat je op dit moment eten bij je hebt. Waarom zijn we ons niet meer bewust van al het voedsel om ons heen? Waar komt het vandaan en hoe wordt het gemaakt? Waarom heet pindakaas ‘pindakaas’? Waarom wordt slagroom boter als je te lang doorklopt? Helaas voor jou, geeft dit boekje geen antwoord op al deze vragen, maar het geeft op komische wijze stof tot nadenken.

About Food is, as you may have guessed, a book about food. Food is a basic necessity of life. Everyone eats and everywhere you look there is food. Food in your home, food in stores, food on the road. The chance is significant that you are carrying food with you at this moment. Why aren’t we more concious about all the food around us? Where does it come from and how is it made? Why is peanutbutter called peanutbutter? Why does whipped cream become gross when you whip it too long? Unfortunately, this book doesn’t have the answers to all of these questions, but it does give you something to think about.
