One day I was taking a walk
And to my eyes I see from afar
A person who like many others
With no life, no enthusiasm for fun
Just standing there like a statue

And I and my curiosity began to speak
To this person with no 'soul'
"Why don't you smile?  Why don't you dance?
Why don't you sing?  Are you in a trance?
Then from my ears I heard a voice

It was feint, like it hand no voice
The sound was eerie like a ghost
Was this person dead or did it have a host?
And when I began to hear the voice'
I wanted to hear because, it was my choice!

"I had dreams like you, I had ambition.
But these "people" told me the disposition
Of What I dream, of what I see
"We" will hate you, you will never be
Your dreams are a waste to us

Follow the rules, you'll be fine,
Break them and we'll put you in line!
I listened to 'them' and followed their rules
Now I belong them like other countless fools
Because I stopped, because I paused..

"They" said my dreams were not a worthy cause
To live in joy, to live in bliss
To never ever taste a kiss
This is forbidden to get ahead
This is forbidden that is what "they" said

If I were you,I suggest you leave
"They" will find you, so let me be.
I never found such pain and waste
A life wasting away, a happy face
And when I heard this dreadful speech

A rage flew high and I beseeched
This rage is burning like the heart of kings
I think I saw some deadly strings!
"Stop it! End it!  Don't you see?
"They" are the conformed society

"They" make fun of those who chase their dreams
And destroy those they don't look a stream.
They're controlling you, using you
Just like all of the others, when you see
A force of evil sugar-coated all against me!

The dreamer who wants to break free
The person who wants to brightly see
To catch their dreams before it's too late
To win their prize to "take the cake"
The reason why people washed away their dreams

Is conformity beat and screams
The nonsense of "Rules" and they say goes
Are you going to just stand there and let them play
With the strings that keep you at bay
Or are you going to stand up and fight

To show those jerks that you are right!
"You talked too much
You talked too long
We will weaken you
Because your will is strong!"

I never knew what I heard
But that sounded absurd
I finally saw the master
That's the evil bastard
The one brought the person's disaster

My rage was a flame
I am beginning to win this game
The flame burned the strings

That tried to control my actions
With the utmost satisfaction
