Description
Inspired by a church mural by Albertus Pictor (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_pl… ). The original mural was painted in the 1490's in Täby Church, Sweden, depicting a skeleton and a man playing chess. That paiting also came to inspire the Ingmar Bergman movie the Seventh Seal (1957).

My drawing tries to imitate the style of Pictor's painting, and depicts two characters from a TTRPG campaign. To the right is my player character, Deicide. The ribon above them read "Jak spelar dig matt" (I checkmate thee/you), which is what the ribon in Pictor's original mural said before the text faded away.
